TOKYO INDUSTRIES LAUNCHES THE EMERALD THEATRE FOLLOWING £4M TRANSFORMATION
Tokyo Industries has officially launched The Emerald Theatre, a new West End venue on Victoria Embankment, following a £4 million refurbishment of the former Proud Embankment space. The venue is now open for bookings and marks the latest addition to Tokyo Industries’ growing portfolio of London entertainment and event destinations.
The transformation reimagines the venue as a cabaret-style theatre designed to support a wide range of live performance and private event formats. With a flexible layout, integrated production infrastructure and a central riverside location, The Emerald Theatre is positioned to attract corporate events, brand launches, private dinners and premium receptions alongside its performance programme.
The venue opened in June with the production Diamonds & Dust, starring Dita Von Teese, and is expected to host a programme of high-profile performances and events throughout the year. Its main auditorium features a double-height space with a stage, tiered seating and mezzanine level, supported by additional lounge and foyer areas suitable for arrivals, hospitality and smaller private gatherings.
Located on Victoria Embankment, The Emerald Theatre benefits from close proximity to Embankment, Charing Cross and Temple stations, offering strong accessibility for both London-based and international guests. Tokyo Industries has confirmed that the venue is available for exclusive and part hire, supported by in-house bar facilities and a curated list of preferred suppliers.
The launch of The Emerald Theatre forms part of Tokyo Industries’ wider strategy to revitalise landmark venues and create experience-led destinations within central London’s entertainment and events landscape.
